About Me

Imade Igbinedion is a London-born Nigerian artist who hails from Edo State and is based in Lagos, Nigeria. Imade is also part of the Igbinedion family, a well-known family in Nigeria. She is the daughter of Chief Bright Igbinedion and Reverend Mrs. Mina Igbinedion, linking her to the influential legacy of Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of the Benin Kingdom. Her background in such a prominent family has likely contributed to her influence and reach within Nigeria’s entertainment.

She goes by the stage name Spaydez and is known for her significant philanthropy, which gave birth to her foundation called the Spaydez Water Foundation. This foundation has provided clean water for rural communities for over 15 years in various locations such as Malawi, Ghana, Soweto, and Nigeria, with significant contributions from supporters like her mother, Reverend Barrister Mrs. Mina Igbinedion, who is a mentor and an ordained Reverend that taught her the ways of Christ and philanthropy. She learned about charity from her mother, who has various charities. She also owns an oil and gas company. Her love for cars led her into car dealerships and imports, as well as real estate and commodity trading. You can call her a business mogul who has done well for herself at a young age.

She started making beats at the age of 12 and was able to use production tools to create sounds. Twelve years ago, she began her journey with secular music as a hobby, but in 2024, her passion for gospel music took a drastic turn for the better when she encountered Jesus Christ deeply, leading to a transformation in her life. She received instruction to raise an army of young people for the Lord through her music.

Spaydez is currently signed to her label, IVP Records, and managed by E.M.E.S (Empire Media Entertainment Services). Her manager, Chika Ahuche (Chykeyz), whom she referred to as “the man who wears many hats,” is her engine room and energy house, and is instrumental in establishing her presence in the gospel industry. Spaydez is a very diverse artist, with a sound that revolves around afrobeats, dance, reggae, contemporary worship, and drill. As a songwriter, she is versatile and cannot be boxed into a single genre, although her work will remain primarily within the gospel and inspirational categories.

With her unique and stunning looks, she has been able to attract many followers through her philanthropic work. People love her for her goodwill towards humanity through giveaways, food distribution, and clean water projects. Through this music project, which is a movement, she aims to affect lives with her unique style and sound for the Lord, ensuring that her music resonates across religious backgrounds and is played in churches and clubs. As the light, she is called to influence others, bringing them to enlightenment.

God, her parents, sister, and family are her biggest support system, guiding and shaping her journey. Her main goal is to use gospel music as a tool to share the message of God’s love in a unique way to the streets and the world at large.
